Account Inventory Team Lead
Your role

Your main activities as an Account Inventory Team Lead would include:
• lead and become an integral part of a team of account inventory specialists in Switzerland
• support a variety of business areas and drive a positive client experience
• lead the local unit and work in collaboration with a global team on day-to-day tasks and strategic initiatives
• lead process improvement implementations including the identification of transformation opportunities
• effectively manage the risks associated with the role and responsibilities, promptly escalating issues as they arise. Promoting similar behavior to members of the team and challenging instances of poor risk management
• facilitate collective learning within the team by updating related documentation and cascading within the team
Your team
You'll be leading the local Account Inventory Team, who is embedded in the Network and Market Infrastructure Management (NMI) team in Zurich.
We are responsible for the network of relationships with third party post trade providers' including agent banks and market utilities (CSD, CCP) that UBS contracts with to provide custody, clearing, and settlement services. NMI is responsible for provider strategy, commercial management, delivery of cost savings, account inventory maintenance (including opening, reconciliation and closure), processing of invoices, market intelligence, and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Your experience and skills
• ability to effectively manage and lead people including processing multiple on-going initiatives at speed whilst maintaining the highest levels of accuracy
• very good analytical skills and affinity for processes and systems used by NMI and wider Chief Digital and Information Office
• a very good understanding of post-trade banking operations and third party provider landscape
• the ability to prioritize your and your team's work based on internal and external deadlines
• experience of working in a global team and drive to build synergies across multiple organizational units
• able to collaborate with all levels within the organization and represent your team
• a strong communicator and comfortable in challenging peers and individuals above their rank
