Your tasks
- Synchronizing and cleaning data from different household surveys
- Conducting background research on how to measure wealth from household survey data
- Later working with geospatial data

Your profile
- Bachelor or, preferably, Master student
- Interest in development economics
- Interest in data-driven research
- Strong dedication to details
- Ability to work independently and communicate proactively
- Basic programming skills in Stata or R
- Prior experience with GIS software would be an asset
The Swiss Institute for International Economics (SIAW-HSG) is seeking a Bachelor or, preferably, Master student to fill the position of a research assistant at the chair of Prof. Dr. Roland Hodler. The research assistant contributes to a project in development economics using household surveys and geospatial data. The position is initially limited to three months but could potentially be extended or converted to a position for a PhD student.
