Teaching Assistant (m/w/d) for the Fin-Tech Master's Certificate
Your tasks
- Teaching assistance, including preparation of teaching material and course organization
- Interaction with students and invited lecturers
- Proactive support to the executive director (Dr. Mirela Keuschnigg) and academic director (Prof. Dr. Angelo Ranaldo) of the FinTech Certificate
- Maintenance of the website and social media accounts
- Support for events, e.g. Kick-off event once a year
Your profile
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or econometrics with excellent grades
- Support of the new HSG master's certificate in Financial Technology (FinTech)
- Strong interest in FinTech and the research carried out at the chair of Prof. Ranaldo
- Commitment to teaching excellence and ability to work independently
- Advanced knowledge of FinTech issues and programming (e.g. Python)
- Strong English knowledge is required. A good command of German language is desirable
The main research areas at the chair held by Prof. Dr. Angelo Ranaldo are asset pricing, international finance, and market microstructure especially from the perspective of financial stability, market design, and (unconventional) monetary policy.
The chair offers:
