In this role, you will oversee Distributed Control Systems projects within the Energy Industries division, based in Switzerland, providing clear guidelines, tasks and milestones, while motivating and providing feedbackReporting to the Project Management Office Manager, you will maintain and enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring that customer requirements and all targets are met, providing excellent service at every stage of the project

Your responsibilities

• Overseeing commercial, legal, and technical aspects of order fulfillment for multiple customer projects at the same time and with the goal of on-time delivery, customer satisfaction and profitability
• Managing the development of project planning documents
• Monitoring projects to ensure best practices in cost control, resource efficiency and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
• Analyzing and addressing project risks in terms of scheduling, financial, contractual, and legal aspects, and regularly disseminating lessons learned
• Working with other functions to coordinate technical aspects, contract negotiations and claims with customers
• Achieving project deliverables and compliance with contract requirements
• Building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders

Your background

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
• Min. 5 years of experience in Project Management, working as Project Manager with Automation and Control Systems preferably in the nuclear market
• Demonstrated experience in management of large project scope, cost, schedule, vendors/subcontractors, as well as challenging customers
• Knowledge of Distributed Control Systems and preferably nuclear applications
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
• Project Management certification (PMP, ABB internal or similar)
• Mother tongue German, proficiency in English
