You will be part of the Premium Support team at ABB Headquarters/Switzerland, responsible for applying broad IS technology knowledge and expertise to support business needs and help solve challenging topics.You will be responsible in providing an elevated level of support to nominated senior management personnel in ABB and as well as priority support to all important stakeholders in ABB, such as senior managers meeting top executives from our customers or other organizations and senior managers from ABB businesses by delivering with faster resolutions, faster tri age and enhanced engagements to improve consumer experience of pre-defined business critical consumer groups with a focus to service the VIP in the organization.

Your responsibilities
 

  • Coordination of event requirements, event location infrastructure, provision of additional technology to support realization of ABB or ABB customer events and facilitation of virtual events.
  • Coordinate and support EOL and stock management of IS equipment in cooperation with our vendors.
  • Responsible for mobile device handling & support in close cooperation with the telephony team.
  • Sharing knowledge and guiding others on implementation and operation, using understanding of existing technology and business requirements.
  • Utilizing your understanding of existing IS technology and business requirements to guide colleagues conducting conferencing and event services.
  • Assist in preparing and ensuring adequate support and IT infrastructure is organized for onsite or offsite VIP events:
  • Collaborating identify, analyze, provide recommendations and to improve Premium Support solutions
  • Consulting with relevant stakeholders across the business to give advice, ensuring compliance with ABB IS Enterprise Architecture, monitoring task completion and sharing expert knowledge
  • Oversee the VIP events calendar in the organization and preparing & updating informational materials (inside+, HQ-IS portal etc).
  • SPOC for potential service recipients and coordinate and support local IS projects and initiatives.

Your background
 

  • Preferred a university degree in IT, Business, Marketing, Linguistics etc.
  • More than 2 years of experience in event support, end user support, Helpdesk support with MS technology and/or other collaboration, video meeting technology.
  • At least 2 years of experience in roles in service desk, Onsite Support and Executive Care, VIP Premium support.
  • Knowledge of video conferencing equipment, practices of creation, modification support documentation
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple demands on time, in cross-functional, virtual and international teams.
  • Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization, technical and non-technical audiences, to convey IT information and processes in a clear and concise fashion focusing on excellent customer service
  • Good knowledge of Hardware lifecycle processes
  • Fluency in English, German is an asset
  • Experience with MS Teams platforms are preferred
